Feierlichkeit zu Ehren des Hl. Georg und allen Generationen von Seefahrern der Region Brseč wird am Sonntag, 22. April in der Kirche des Hl. Georg in Brseč und in der Galerie Eugen Kumičić abgehalten.

Im Hotel Ambassador, Opatija, findet vom 20. bis 22. April das FOTOSOFIA WEEKEND statt, ein kostenloses Fotoseminar unter der fachkundigen Anleitung des bekannten Fotografen und Gründers der FOTOSOFIA Damir Hoyka. Special guests sind die Botschafter der Fotografie Rene Bitorajac, Boris Mirković und Tomislav Jelinčić.

Am Samstag, 14.04.2012 findet von 13.00 bis 21.00 Uhr in Kastav die zweite Veranstaltung „Von Ausstellung zu Ausstellung“ statt. Organisiert durch den kastaver Verein ‚Idividi’, zeigen bei der Ganztagsveranstaltung 17 Galerien, Ateliers, kleine regionale Museen, Restaurants, Hotels und Café-Bars Bilder, Skulpturen, Fotografien und verschiedene Installationen von Künstlern. Die Eröffnung der Ausstellung beginnt um 13.00 Uhr und setzt sich alle 30 Minuten fort.

Labin Art Express XXI and "back2rave" team, present COALMINE RAVE back to the cave 1 w / Steve Rachmad @ KUC Lamparna, Labin 06.04.2012. "Coalmine Rave" is realized within the program to mark the 20th anniversary of the Labin Art Express and KuC "Lamparna", supported by the Ministry of Culture, Open Society Institute, Istria and the National Foundation for Civil Society. The program begins at 23:00 and lasts until 05:00 pm. The ticket is 40 kuna.

On Easter people bring food to church to be blessed during the early morning mass. Traditionally, children couldn't wait for Easter to come since on that day they would eat pinca, Easter bread or cake, play with dyed Easter eggs and get a few coins, the luckiest ones would even get a new piece of clothing. For Easter lunch lamb goulash was prepared, those who couldn't afford lamb were satisfied with fuži (type of pasta), kapuz (sauerkraut) and chicken.
