Zucchero - Chocaback Tour 2011

The trail of the 2nd Recreational bicycle race "Art Grožnjan" long is about 25 km and is suitable for all riders, ride will be adjusted group, with the possibility of dividing into two groups.
Registration fee is 20.00 kn.
Start of cycling is at 15:00 from the soccer field.
In the evening you can stay and dance with Stavros and DJ music.

The educational exhibition with the theme of ecology in Labin starts 18th of June 2011 at 09:30 on the Labin miners square (in the covered area near the supermarket) and lasts until 14:00 0'clock.
In case of rain, the exhibition moves to Lamparna.

International painting contest ex-tempore at Irma Benčić Park. More than hundred painters from Croatia and foreign countries like Slovenia and Italy will take part to this event. They paint on various town locations using Novigrad as their topic. Their works will compete for sponsored awards evaluated by a professional jury. Painters can compete also with their earlier works which mustn’t be older than two years.

MIK e' l' abbreviazione di Melodie dell' Istria e del Kvarner (Quarnero). Il festival e' ogni anno ospite delle citta' dell' Istria e del Quarnero, area ricoperta da tre Contee della parte occidentale della Croazia, lungo il litorale settentrionale dell' azzuro mare Adriatico. Questo e' un festival basato sull` etno musica della regione nella quale ha luogo, ed a cui musica e' fondamento la cosidetta "scala istriana", uno dei fenomeni forse piu' interessanti al mondo. Le canzoni sfiorano appena gli elementi del tanto caratteristico melos, in un modo accettabile e gradevole.

Brijuni regatta – sailing regatta in the waters of Fažana The Fažana Riviera was one of the first in the Mediterranean to make use of its beauties to promote nautical tourism. It was very often the case that two-masted coasters known as "TRABAKULI" sailed along the coast during summer months without cargo such as wood or wine and were in fact converted into "CRUISING SAILBOATS". There was time for fishing in the morning, swimming during the day and singing and dancing at night. One of the first yacht clubs in Pula "YACHT GESCHWADER", founded by Austro - Hungarian naval officers greatly contributed to the popularization of sailing in this area. Many regattas were held and so attracted the élite from entire Europe to our coast. In this way Pula, Brijuni and Fažana Channel became important destinations for yachtsmen and all sea lovers.

Several times a year the main square in Gračišće becomes a stage for masters of maneštra who compete to prepare the area’s most famous spoon meal. Depending on the time of year and the availability of ingredients, maneštra has many variations and every chef combines the ingredients to his own recipe in order to make his maneštra special and different from the rest.
