Museum Night in Croatian museums and galleries is organized by The Croatian Museum Association. Takes place each year on the last Friday in January from 6:00 pm - 1:00 am. Free entrance & many programmes

The carnival in Buzet 2013 will start sooner than usual. The traditional carnival parade will be held in the afternoon on Sunday, 10.02.2013, at the Fountain Square in Buzet. The very mottled costumes will be presented in a procession and the masked people will readily pose in front of the cameras wielded the massive audience.

Traditionally - for centuries in Liburnija masks take over on the feast of St. Anton, January the 17th and the Carnival folly begins. Dancing and singing, "kampanat&obahajat" until Ash Wednesday.

The Kastav carnival takes place annually between St Anthony's day (17 January) and Ash Wednesday (6 February). During parades, groups perform different dances, ringing the bells attached to their belts and colliding with each other to ensure maximum noise!

Reconstructed torture devices used in punitive procedures throughout Europe from the Middle Ages to the 18th ct. or even longer, will be displayed in the future Museum of wine and rural production in Brtonigla until June 10, 2013. The author of the exhibition and owner of the impressive collection of torture devices is Polish artist and collector Piotr Buczkowski.
