Tourism in this part of Istria as well as in Rabac quickly began to develop only in early sixties of 20th cent, when this small town received a complimentary name of The Pearl of Kvarner Bay because of its remarkable natural beauty. The quality of the coast must be clear if you know that Rabac has 4 blue flags for its beautiful pebble beaches. Due to a mild climate it’s a pleasant stay throughout the year, but the most important season still is the summer.
Festivals which are organized during the summer are: Cruise races, European Sailing Championship, Sailing Regatta, Summer Carnival, Istria Brass Bands and Fishermen Festival.
