The sexiest and most interesting voice in the '80s in ex-Yugoslavia was, no doubt, Massimo Savic, known to his friends as just Max, with his Croatian band called Dorian Gray. Massimo Savic started his career in 1983, and today ranges from pop to jazz. One of his LPs is called Elements and its sung entirely on English, but usually he sings in Croatian.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival is a unique annual dance festival in Croatia which gathers salsa dancers and lovers of Latin music on the beautifull scenery of the Mediterranean town of Rovinj. It consists of daily dancing workshops from the beginner to advanced levels where participiants learn various styles of salsa (Salsa Cubana, LA salsa, New York salsa, Rumba, cha-cha-cha, Lady styling, Rueda, Bachata ...)
