The 2010 Veterans World Fencing Championships is organized by the Croatian Fencing Federation with the support of the Plava Laguna Company and the Town of Poreč, under the auspices and authority of the Fédération Internationale d’Escrime (FIE).
The Championships is held in the Intersport Centre of the PLAVA LAGUNA in Poreč/Croatia from 28 September to 3 October 2010. The Porec World Veteran Fencing Championships is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović.

Race Ol Istria MTB Tour - Parenzana Cannondale 2010 which for the 14th time in a row with its specific formula (tourism + professional race) attracts numerous home and foreign cyclists, coming from all over Europe.

Classified with medium difficulty, the race is included in the calendar of the World Bicycle Federation (UCI) in the category 1, and considering the fact that there will be assigned world points, it is attended an exciting race and an intense competition. The race is going to take place on September 2010 the 24th, 25th and 26th. The trail will pass through the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line which deeply penetrates into the Istrian peninsula and from Poreč to Trieste connects 33 Istrian cities, which today are located on the territory of even three states. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, once it was named as the railway of the wine.

3rd WMF is going to welcome Pete Radovich, U.S. sports producer of Croatian descent and winner of 18 Emmy Awards, Jon Williams, Chief Digital Officer for Gray EMEA and jury member at this year’s Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, and Andrew Keen, author of The Cult of the Amateur and one of the world’s biggest internet critics. The panel discussions, intriguing as ever, will feature morning radio shows, TV digitization, and fashion and teen media, as well as the mythical yet unanswered question about what the clients really want and expect from their agencies. Finally, as always, there will be plenty of fun; three huge parties will have you dancing until the early morning hours.
