Bicycle race Porec Trophy 14.03.2011. is already taking place for the ninth year organized by BK Meridiana - Kamen Pazin "in Pazin. With this race ,we would like that Porec and Istria, becoming the first cycling destination for the preparation of top athletes and cycling amateurs residing in Istria as tourists. The specificity of this competition is that it is taking place on roads that stretch along the attractive area of Porec.

Event dedicated to olive oil, with olive growing fair and art contest on the theme of olives

On 8 March, Dee Dee Bridgewater, a tripple Grammy Award winner and one of the most important jazz musicians today will perform in Croatia for the first time. The concert will be held in Rovinj, in the former tobacco factory. At her concert entitled: To Billie with Love – A Celebration of Lady Day, Dee Dee will present her last album dedicated to the legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday.

Buzet, Trg Fontana (Fontana square)
Big carnival costume promenade throughout the town
Pust (man-like doll blamed for bad events in the previous year and burned) and all festive carnival events are almost here. The central event in Buzet is certainly the masked procession that brings together some thousand masked participants and dozens of allegorical floats both from the Buzet region and surrounding areas.

Free Salsa Workshop has been organized PC Studio from Pula for the 7th year in a row, led by Rosemarie Miletic and Fabris Radin under the auspices of the County of Istria and Pula Tourist Board. This year will be held in the Croatian war veterans Hall in Pula.

Festival of Laughter
If you want to leave your everyday problems and worries behind, at least for a moment, and see the warmest and most radiant smile on the faces of your children or grandchildren, then visit the educational-entertainment festival - Zlatni zub (Golden tooth). After a series of performances and entertainment programmes, festival participants receive special awards - Golden, Silver and Bad tooth. The quality of the performance is rated by the length and loudness of applause measured with a device called the - applausemetre!

In collaboration with RIVIERA Inc., and the selection of artists Đanino Božić, from the 3rd of March 2011 in the Small gallery POU Poreč (People Sq. 1), is open the exhibition of works created under the auspices of the 28th art colony RIVIERA Porec.

The exhibition runs until 26 March 2011.
